Weight Loss Scams

IF you realized that this was a JOKE and clicked on the link, well done. Feel free to check out some of the (most likely) less amusing but much scarier content linked below.

IF you really felt Allcarbotrol or Lard-X could help you lose weight, then you are a drain on the economic, health care, and educational systems in this country. If you would like information about weight loss, feel free to click the links below. BE SMART... know that there is no substitute for healthy decisions.

LET THIS BE KNOWN - The page you were viewing was a satire, poking fun at the BILLION dollar fake blogging industry. Just one of these sites can bring in MILLIONS of dollars per month in revenue from continuity programs for products that may or may not have been reviewed by the FDA or FTC.

How can you protect yourself?

  • DO NOT take advice from individuals on the Internet, especially if they are trying to sell you something. All voices are equal on the Internet. It is important to be cynical when reading user generated content.
  • DO NOT believe that you will EVER receive a "free" trial of ANYTHING. Most offers include a very short window in which to cancel with nearly IMPOSSIBLE criteria for returning the products. After that time you are charged up to 6 TIMES what the product is actually worth.
  • SEE YOUR DOCTOR before beginning any weight loss, supplement, or diet program. Print the pages you read and ask your doctor how legitimate the claims are.
  • GET OFF YOUR ASS! Have you ever watched a weight loss show on TV? Those people lose HUNDREDS of pounds... are they taking supplements? Drinking green tea? NO! Those people dedicate time to working out and learning about healthy decision making.

Please, click around this site and use your BRAIN to filter what you take in.

I will donate a portion of the proceeds from this site to a childhood obesity charity. Most likely they will not want their name associated with the previous page, but should they allow it I will mention them by name
